I made a mess of my last thread so please excuse me raising this one.
As soon as start button pressed green flashes in lots of 4. No noises, no movement, no nothing. Have had pump off and drained water out of sump.
    Any further ideas please?

    O.k. let’s see if I’ve got this.

There is no indication the m/c. is trying to drain so the water level indicator is not the problem. But the flashing occurs as soon as the start switch is pressed, there is no water in the sump, the pump isn’t pumping but has no water to pump out anyway?

    :conf: ….. 😀

OK, basics. First action on any programme is to run the drain pump. You need to check whether or not there is a circuit through the pump motor, then check the wiring in the door at the pivot point as they are prone to breakages.

    That’s your starter for 10.

So we thought it was about time to call in a repair man.

He walked into the kitchen, went up to the dishwasher, pressed in the control button for 5 seconds and walked out with my cheque.
