I have an ADG 710 (8 yrs old) which suddenly trips my kitchen ring main RCD every time I turn it on at the wall. Is it worth repairing or should I bin it?

Re: Whirlpool ADG 710 repair or bin?

    Hi
It could be anything really from heater to water in base causing earth leakage etc.
We would also need what they call the 12 digit NC number; this is the number printed below the barcode, usually on the r/h side of door inner.
If you are going to investigate further please unplug appliance first :plug:

    thanks

Is it worth trying to fix something this old or will it cost me more in parts than it is worth?
