    had the dishwasher – Whirlpool ADG 7450 – about 3 years working fine until a few weeks ago.

    you start it but after a minute it stops and sounds a beeping noise – opening the door the pre-rinse light in on and the start button flashes.

    i’ve cleaned the filters, checked the water supply and waste pipe.

    any ideas.

    Ignore the beeps – count the pattern of the flashing light; ie 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat. That’s an error code.

    thanks, but i read one of your responses to the whirlpool error on the same page.

    put some warm water in the sump and it worked first time.

    brilliant stuff.
