This dishwasher has suddenly stopped taking in water. Does this model have a water level sensor/pressure switch and if so where is it located? I have had alook around the bottom base unit but can on see the NTC Sensor. Have also checked operation of inlet solenoid and this is functioning properly when voltage is applied with wiring disconnected, valve opens and water can be heard flowing in.
would be obliged for a response.
    Cheers for now.

2.5 months later… any joy? I have the same problem. I have found that the system starts letting in water if I remove the drain pump motor from the sump (leaving the wired connection). I can only assume this means the pump is knackered. It seems fine though, it spins and actually does pump fine. Maybe the CPU measures the motor current consumption and it doesn’t like the value.

so you take out the pump but leave it electrically connected ?

think I get it you are taking the coil off the pump

if yes and you have not got model above then some models do sense pump current to decide if its empty. as the pump wears it start to catch the tube the impellor is in and ups the current just enough to fault out

look for side play in the pump impellor.

if it is a current sense unit its either the pump or the board
