I would be grateful for any advice.

My Whirlpool ADG 7550 is not emptying.

I have checked the drain pipe, blown down it and it is clear. The sink drain is also clear as the sink drains away without a problem.

The green light on the far right handside of the control panel flashes when the machine is switched on. It flashes four times with a short intermission then four flashes again and so on.

Can I fix this myself or do I need a service engineer. Machine is 3 years old.

    Hope you can help

    Gary

Four flashes is the “no drain” error.

If you wish to fix this yourself, you will need to bail out as much water as you can. Drain pump will be found at the left front of the sump moulding. Access by removing lower cover plate.

    Power off, first.

Sorry to be a numpty but…
Does that mean that the drain pump needs replacing or unblocking?
Many Yhanks for your quick response.

Might have failed, might be blocked……. You have to find out.
