My whirlpool adg 7566 seems to finish its cycle ok but then gets stuck in beeping and flashing 4 times. The dishes look clean, but may be slightly wetter than before.

Other posts about the 4-times-flash point at a failing drainage, but there is no water left in the bottom of the machine.

I tried an empty cycle which ran fine, I heard the drying phase run and it ended without error code. Still when I run it full, it ends with the error-code 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the times.

    Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks, Romke

It implies that the switch is not re-setting in the time allowed. The diaphragm is either sticking beacuse of deposits inside the grid, or the return spring on the microswitch has failed.

If a good clean doesn’t do the trick, you’ll need THIS.

I have just the same problem. But I have a dwf 406.

What do I need to clean?
Is it that black thing in bottom of the machine?
If so how do i get it out, or do I clean it while in place?

    Two possibilities:

1/ The black grid in the sump is jammed by fatty deposits. They’re usually pretty obvious (white deposits). If you’re lucky, an old toothbrush and plenty of hot water will clear it by scubing. If not, it’s a twist fit from under the machine if you need full access. Power off first, obviously.

2/ The microswitch on the back of the unit may have failed in the closed position, in which case, you’ll need THIS LITTE CHAPPIE.
