Whirlpool ADG Start Light Flashing

Is this the same issue as posted for the adp 5966

In that when the dishwasher is turned on the start light flashes

This appears to reset if pressed for a couple of seconds (goes off)

Machine pumps out but then does nothing.

Turning program selector off and on returns machins to start light flashing state

Light flashes continuously (no pattern to it)

Any ideas ?

Flooded undertray should keep the drain pump running on most models. So , temperature sensor failure, computer failurs. Can’t say too much more with any certainty without the model number………
