The dishwasher has been running fine up until yesterday. When I start the program, the machine fills with water, then is quiet for a short while, then it immediately drains. The green LED light then goes off ( no flashes).
That’s basically it guys and was just wondering if anyone has any ideas what could be the problem!
Hi Mel, that certainly is a strange one especially as the green light goes off and doesn’t flash an error code. Usually that would indicate a faulty pcb by the fact that it isn’t even registering a fault but it would be worth running a meter around it and especially checking for earth faults as these can sometimes confuse the electronics 😉
Thank you so much for your reply. The hubby is going to have a look this morning.
I did wonder if it could have been something to do with the water temp being so cold as it goes into the machine as this only started when the temp outside dropped so cold!
I don’t fancy doing the Sunday lunch dishes by hand today 😉
If the ntc in the base reads a too low ( cold ) reading, this can abort the cycle . try pouring a few litres of hot water in the bottom of the dishwasher before starting the cycle and see how it goes ; had loads of these last winter doing this 😀
Ok, so we put some hot water in, left it a few minutes, then turned the machine on……….. and it drained out the warm water and started to fill up again!!!!!!!! :rolls:
