    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had had this problem and/or knew what could be wrong.

I have a reasonably old Whirlpool ADG710. It worked fine until it started tripping the circuit breaker mid cycle. It always seems to do it at the same point in the cycle. You can advance the cycle and it will work again until another point in the cycle at which it always trips the breaker again.

A friend has suggested it might be something to do with the soap dispenser leaking water into the electrics. Does this sound plausible (I’m afraid I know absolutely nothing about white goods!).

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Jason

Possibly heater related, possibly wiring problems in the door – these old ones were so and soes for breaking the loom at the pivot point of the door.

Power off if you intend to investigate this for yourself.

Thanks for that. Sounds a bit terminal then! 🙁

Decent enough machine. Might be worth asking your local engineer to take a peek. AFAIK, the heater is still available and the wiring problems are a known and easily resolved issue.

Use the “Find an engineer” link below.

    Your call, of course.
