    Hello,

First off I’m very impressed with the info on here. I’ve tried a few ideas and think I’m making progress.

Whirlpool ADG722 built in. Pump drains for 30secs then stops. Start light flashes continuously. I’ve tried to do a diagnostics test but can’t get it to work.

Would I be right in thinking that continuous flash indicates a temperature sensor fault? If so is it simply a case of changing it out and can this be done relatively easily? No job at the mo so can’t really afford to get someone out or buy a new one.

    Cheers

    Luke

NTC (temperture sensor) fault – you’ll need one of THESE.

It’s the finger sticking up in the sump and is a twist-fit from underneath.

Given the time of year and the extreme cold, if your kitchen is too cold you may get this fault. Try pouring in a jug of hot water a few minutes before setting the machine off – you might just hit lucky.

Power off if you decide to change the sensor.
