    Whirlpool ADG722WH semi – integrated dishwasher. 8542 722 15410. Serial no:- 33 0009 010723.

    Strange problem…….. 😕

The machine has three cycles; soak, 50 degree rapid wash and intensive cycle. Soak works OK. The other 2 cycles start, release the dispenser lid, heat the water, then wash for about 1/2 an hour. All seems fine.
Then the machine drains and stops. No rinsing – just stops, start light goes out. If the start button is pressed, it repeats the same again.
I’ve checked all the components, motor, heater (for earth leaks), pump, no blockages, the flowmeter seems to work OK, changed the inlet valve……..
I have run the diagnostic program as detailed in the UKW fault code book – no fault code shown at the end of the cycle.
The only thing left to try is the PCB. I can’t think of anything else. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Steve.

If socket OK, pcb – nothing else makes sense.

Cables and connectors plus mains filter, worth a check, sounds like a failing under heater load maybe.

This machine is crazy. I’ve tried the mains filter as suggested, but unfortunately it didn’t make a difference. Thanks anyway!!
The machine is in the workshop so I could monitor it today and I seem to have exhausted all possibilities apart from the PCB. It works through the cycle as if it was set to soak, yet it heats and opens the dispenser. It drains and will not refill for rinses. It just shuts down and the Start indicator goes out. Cycle time = approx. 20 mins in total.
Wash motor has a tiny weep from the seals – looks like it’s going to be another scrapper……… :rolls:

    Any other ideas welcome!!

    Thanks,

    Steve.
