ParticipantHi Guys.
I went to this dishwasher on friday, flashing F4, draining failure. Found a piece of plastic in the drain outlet and thought this was the problem. Also found the black grill on the r/h side of the sump choked up with tissue(?).
Dishwasher now drains ok, but will not stop draining. Seems as if it does not want to advance on to the next (fill) part of the prog. I looked for some sort of pressure switch arrangement but could not find. As usual its a built in job and not an easy removal, Will be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation,

Mike, the black grill that you mention is the pressure switch. It is a rubber membrane with a microswitch behind.
I have seen several leaking where a customer has prodded the holes with a screwdriver. 😯
The whole unit comes out quite easily from underneath. I believe it is on a twist bayonet. You can get access from the front.

Many Thanks for your replies.
I think that its more than likely that I have pierced the diaphragm with my mk 1 poker and prodder. I have ordered a new one and expect a result.
Cheers,
