Got a Whirlpool d’washer that i looked at briefly, it will run outlet pump but beeps then continuosly, it won’t let me go in to diagnostic programme.
Trouble is its very tight & i can’t get it pulled out of kitchen unit when i’ve loosened retaining screws, i wanted to check inlet water valve as it doesn’t take in water, just pumps for a while & led flashes continuously then.
    any ideas?

Depends on the age of it for the error code but, a faulty NTC won’t allow you to run the diagnostic program and if it’s not too old a machine, continuous flash is error code F1 – NTC fault.

Thanks brian, would an NTC fault abort the programme before taking in water? I just pumps out as soon as you select any program & then beeps & flashes continuously, do they do a self test on every component on start-up?

    thanks in advance

Yep. module carries out a diagnostic at every start up.
Start up, it should take in water while pumping out to flush out the system. NTC fault would be detected during this so it would appear that all it’s done is pump out.

The age of the machine is quite important too as older models have different ways of showing the codes. If you’ve got the serial number then we can determine it’s age.
