whirlpool ADG7460 dishwasher won’t start

🙁 My Whirlpool ADG 7460 dishwasher, which is only 3 months old, is driving me mad!
I started the eco wash program as normal, and the machine started to run but after about 5 minutes it gave the “finished” signal. I looked to see if the start light was flashing in any pattern, but it had gone off – just as if it was at the end of the wash programme.

There is no water left in the machine. I pouring hot water into the sump (as suggested in various topics) and it pumped out the water before stopping again. I have cleaned all the filters and mopped up every drop of water inside to see if there are any blockages. I have checked the spray arms and made sure they are not blocked either.

I just tried to start it again, and now the start light won’t come on at all.

Does anyone have any advice? Have I missed something obvious or do I need to call an engineer? All help gratefully received.

Odd one – send for Whirlpool as it’s under warranty. Sounds like a dodgy computer to me.

Thanks for your reply. Think that is the best course of action. Wish I’d never had integrated dishwashers – they are the bane of my life! ➡ :rolls:
