whirlpool adg7460 stops after 4 mins

I have a two year old integrated dishwasher which stops a few mins on all cycles with water left in the machine. Checked i/p and output pipes are ok. Cant see lights as integrated but beeps as if finished.

The water softer Bitron has a cylinder full of crystal gunk I think this is normal as cant see any way of getting it out?

When it beeps and finishes, open the door and look at the start switch light. This will flash a set number of times then a one second gap and so on. Count the flashes and this will give the fault code and post what you find. 3 flashes is heater fault for example.
