ParticipantJust been to this head scratcher,2 months o.o.guarantee,new version of familiar int d/w.Press start, one of the pumps runs intermittently for minutes and then it dies with far r/h light flashing.I pressed and held to cancel and repeated, same thing happened. This model has not got a diaphram switch in the sump so now i’m stumped.
Just to make it complicated i’ve somehow managed to lock out all the progs now by pressing and holding(i think),so now i cant start the thing. The r/h light(reset)is flashing, you can press it to cancel but it comes back on after a few seconds.Any wise words much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Count flashes, take a look in fault codes.

Just been back to check this machine and confirmed the fault light flashes 8 times, then rest for a few seconds and repeats 8 flashes. This goes on forever and i cant get out of this mode to set a programme.I press and hold button and the light goes out but returns after a short pause.I think i may have pressed something and got stuck in diagnostic mode.I see on older models that 8 flashes means water level failure, which was the original problem with this machine i.e. no fill.

Does this machine have the side tank with a flow meter on it. They (or the connex to it) fail.

Yes it does have a flowmeter tank and i’ve checked the connection by sliding the plug on and off. The problem is its stuck in fault code mode and i cant get out.Heeelp ❓ ❓ 😕

I’ve just checked the price of a new module from
Connect, its £120.44+vat part no 480140102618.Has anyone had to replace this part and will it cure the fault? Any feedback appreciated.April 25, 2013 at 10:32 pm #393329leavemetogetonwithit

It would make more sense to read up on flow meters and reed switches which you can find plenty on by searching this forum. Of course I’m assuming you’ve checked the obvious stuff like solenoid coil and H2O feed, p/sw if present, no sump / drain blockage. Only then consider a possible board fault and see if you can find anything to help in simple pcb repairs sticky.
