this machine has been doing the four flashes which is drain fault. i put it through a quick wash and it heats up, solinoid opens detergent compartment, then when it gets to drain the pump stays on for ages until drain fault comes up. I’m guessing board but has anyone else had this? Of course it’s my sisters machine and I’m getting all the sarcy comments now so have to get it sorted.

Thanks for that! It was not stuck but the micro switch was on its last legs. I replaced complete diaphram unit and it worked. Then I noticed that the micro switch is rapidly cutting in and out, I left it running and after a while there was a loud noise that sounded like the soliniod energizing when it should not be. I was then told that it’s always been making that noise (Never thought to mention it originally) but it goes through the cycle so they never bothered about it. So anyway I’m assuming the micro switch will eventually pack in again. Any ideas?
