    The pipe split on my whirlpool adg 7550 motor and I ordered the replacement rubber hose. I have tried to fit this hose but I can’t get the spring clips (that were supplied with the hose) open wide enough to fit over the ends of the hose. I’ve tried using pliers but to no avail. Is there a knack to open these fully or can I resort to using jubilee clips.

    Yes they can be a PITA but suitably sized jubilee clips will do the job…

    Have resorted to using jubilee clips. Have run a few cycles and so far so good!!!!
