    A strange one late Friday,
its one of these with the Big Askoll pump.
It washes fine then the right angled hose between sump and heater gets kinked,
there is no blockages anywhere , but watching it with the bottom plate off the hose clearly gets sucked inwards. we have all seen loads of these dishwashers but i have never seen one of these hoses get deformed like that before,
    any ideas welcomed

have a close look at the filter. if gauze is blocked it does this

also hose does not have to be blocked just partially obstructed at the sump

have a closer look had a similar problem and found a piece of glass which was hard to see till I looked closer. when you think the only reason the hose is closing over is a vacuum problem. if there is no restriction it should not happen unless the hose has lost integrity
