whirlpool adg7550 dishwasher soap dispenser

on the whirlpool adg7550 dishwasher the soap dispenser will not pop open when used.

I have tried running without a tablet in the dispenser. I can find nothing wrong with any seals on the dispenser. it works manually and no error on the display.

Will i need to replace the soap dispenser or just 1 part?

anyone know how to remove the dispenser from the door?

Soap dispenser assembly, I’m afraid – no individual parts available from Whirlpool. Solenoid will almost certainly have failed.

Repalcement is p/no 4812 416 68332 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply you one promptly enough.

Fitting involves removing the decor door and the metal outer door for access. Power off, of course, and be very careful of any stainless steel edges – you can shave with them.
