    Hi there,

I would have looked on the forums but I am struggling with the new lay out and don’t know where to find them.

We have tried changing heating elements on the above range dishwashers, it is the one where the element sits on the wash pump/motor. It comes with a little piece of paper that says you have to reset the PCB and you have to log onto there website to find out how to do this, then you try to log on and it says that access is only allowed for Whirlpool engineers, how annoying. I used to work for Whirlpool and knew all the tricks and tried them on these machines but nothing worked, also tried to phone Whirlpool and all they say is that you have to get a Whirlpool engineer out, just another money making scheme.

Can someone please tell me how you reset the PCB after changing the heating element/wash motor, as it is getting very frustrating and costly.

    Thanks.

    Quintin.

I know it will not help you, but I fitted the integrated heater replacement kit on one of these. (It is basically putting the old tubular heater back)
There was no mention of resetting the PCB in the paper work that came with the kit.
After I had finished I run the machine to check it was heating it wasn’t, I thought that the programmer must have gone so took of the heater replacement kit refitted his old one, they went and got a new machine.
So when you find out how to do it I would like to now as I still have the kit in my van
