ParticipantBeen to integrated to fit the classic door hinge brakes. Drain hose has been crushed and leaking where it passes through back panel. Removed u shaped clip attaching plastic hose end assembly from drain pump and pulled through rear. found that the drain hose looks like it should also have a clip holding it to the plastic assembly end(two clips in total). Have i lost it withdrawing hose and if so does the new drain hose come with the clip?
Cheers

From memory Simon (always dodgy ground these days 😆 ) the drain hose only has one clip holding it to the pump chamber although there at two slots for it to fit to, and if my memory is still working the clip goes in the slot nearest the pump.

I have searched high and low for the other clip. Thought rat had run off with it. Looks dodgy with just the o ring holding it in under pressure of drain pump.
Cheers Clive

Hang on….i thought the hose (with ‘o’ ring) slipped directly into the pump chamber with one white plastic staple shaped clip holding it????

Have removed hose from 90 degree elbow end that fits into pump assembly with intention of shortening it but it needs the full drain hose that takes the o ring. The question is if i order hose does it have 90 degree end with clip?

Again from memory (so don’t quote me) the genuine part does come with the end and clip but someone with the TDS disk might be able to help more.

Simon,
Clive is right in what he says above, the clip fits between the pump and the plastic elbow.
Where the drain hose meets the elbow it looks as if there should be another clip but there isnt one fitted, the hose is just pushed in there and tha plastic bracket at the back of the machine holds it in place.

Received hose. fitted it.
I see it pushes pump in position to hold it locked in as well.
All secure tested dishwasher.
3 inch high needle jet of water in the place where the pin hole appeared in the Gillette razor blade sharp rear panel which i scraped it against. 😳
OK I c**cked it up.
Next one on order.
Awaiting laughing and abuse.Simon. (Practise makes perfect). 🙄
