    You spot on there Byan, we have all done it at one time or another. Made me think about the ADG957 dishwasher I went to and fitted a new wash pump (have probably fitted about 300 or 400 of these over the past 7 years) Anyway got a call from the customer next day about a screaming noise and burning smell. Sent out one of my guys and got the mick taken out of me for not removing the plastic packing cover on the motor 😳

    Not got a roll of ptfe in the toolbox for these little emergencies………?
