Whirlpool ADP 129 AV integrated dishwasher – door issue

The dishwasher door was sitting in the open position when there was a sudden bang – none of us were near it at the time! The door is now much heavier when it is opened or closed, as if something has “gone” in the hinge mechanism?

The label on the side of the door reads ADP 129 AV.
Service: 8542 129 15440 33 9442 001065

this dishwasher is 17 years old but the parts are quite easy to change, it is usually plastic spring retainers and the metal strips

As a non-techie person, can you (or anyone else) please direct me to the correct parts I need to buy (if there are also instructions, that would be brilliant).

The dishwasher is an older one but is still working great, apart from this sudden door issue.
