Customer reported that start button was flashing twice.

Checked everything out. Base was bone dry but did show whiteish [sp]staining.

Start button was flashing twice. Pressed and held to reset then tried on various programmes, machine worked fine on all settings, heater inc.

She did say that it had been stood for almost three weeks before my visit.

Does this machine suffer from oversoaping that may have evaporated. There was no sign of any leaks on test?

More than likely Jim, 2 flashes is a leak and we used to get a load of these for rinse aid spillages, check if she has just filled the rinse aid.

I did ask her that very question, she doesn’t use rinse aid but does use multi tabs. Also rinses all plates very carefully. She also said that she fills the machine as she uses the dishes and sets it to wash when it is full, sometimes over a period af four or five days, but she also sets it to prewash every time she puts more stuff in it, perhaps they are to clean to start with 😀

Will see how it goes.
