ParticipantGot a ADP 335,about 3 yrs old,it’s recently started pulsing both the power led
and it’s wash sequence,Still actually works, just very annoying and seems
to take longer. It pulses about 30 times before advancing
to next stage of cycle,Any ideas ? 💡March 27, 2006 at 11:07 pm #171188Penguin45

Can’t find any reference to that model number. You are however describing a classic digital Whirlpool dishwasher fault – machine makes little pulsing/knocking noises. It’s a computer board fault.
If you would re-check the model number and post it (or better still, the 12 NC number beginning with 8) we should be able to advise more accurately.

Thanks for the reply, could’nt find an “12NC” number maybe because I
live in Sweden and the Swedish market uses different codes ?
The model number on re-checking is ” ADP 335 WH “.
You mentioned a “computer board fault” ,is it possible to buy and replace,
or would it be to expensive?
Many thanks for all info received.

This may be a little difficult to help with as all the tech info we have available in the UK is for UK sold products.
Can you take a photo of the dishwasher with the door open, upload it to imageshack or similar and link to it here, we may be able to help further then 😀

The main control board is at the bottom which is the one Penguin refers to but I still can’t wotk out which UK equivelent model this would be 🙁
Try http://www.whirlpool.com and look for Swedish spares/service contacts 🙂

Don’t recognise it either. However, a flooded base in a machine with an Askoll pump can suffer this problem. (I know cause it happened to my own one couple of weeks ago, not changed to the newer pump yet, still got two askoll pumps spare).
Try tipping the machine backwards a little and see if any water runs out.

Funny you should mention that ,when I pulled out the machine today !there was a little water at the back ,and when tilted back I got a free swimming pool ! Now it’s “hunt the leek” time.
Thanks
