My dishwasher starts all cycles but stops after a short while and flashes continuously (repeats 7 flashes/pulses)

Any idea what this error code indicates?
Are the error codes published anywhere?

Flow meter problem. Water metering unit is under the left hand side panel. It incorporates a flow meter; this is a water wheel with a magnet in it, next to a pcb with a reed switch on it. Assuming that the machine does actually start filling with water before the fault code appears, this device is likely to be the culprit. The “easy fix” is to remove the connector and clean the contacts on the edge of the pcb, give the connector a pinch and re-assemble. Oxidised contacts are a regular problem and that might do the trick. The reed switch on the pcb can fail and no longer switch, in which case you’ll need THIS to sort the problem out.

If the machine doesn’t fill at all, there may be a problem with the fill valve, the water supply or even the pcb.

Stay safe, power off if investigating.
