Whirlpool ADP 4500WH Dishwasher

This machine is starting the programme (ie pumps out) for about three minutes then stops dead. Checked heater, valve, motor all ok. I’m thinking board but not come across this model before. I was convinced before I got there it would be a flood switch tripped but it doesn’t have one 😳

Any ideas???

On the earlier “Dolphin” dishwashers this used to be caused by the three lead connector between the PCB and sump (pressure) switch getting wet.

Looking at the diagram though, I can’t see the usual lower PCB, is it just the main user board in the door on this one Tony ?

There’s only one board in this model. left hand side of the facia.

Check the NTC Tony, at 20 degrees you should get 58.1k and at 25 degrees it should be 47.1k When you get a problem at the start of the program on the Dolphin range it is usualy down to a leak tripping the flood switch or a NTC problem.

Is the start light flashing an error code? If not then my money goes on a faulty module.
NTC is the most common start up fault followed by the pressure switch and flow meter connections.

Whats the price of the board on these, noone has any listings for the model.
