    Hi guys
Got a Whirlpool ADP 5962 – and it has just stopped working. The light flashes 7 times….. and the service manual states it is a flow meter (or water inlet valve). Clearly, I’m no expert as I can’t find a flow meter in the parts listing – and after removing the lid and left panel, am no further forward. Was going to try and locate it, remove, clean and put it back together again.
    Any hints?
Got a number of a local repair man – but hate to be beaten…
    Thanks in advance
    Simon

the left hanside when you removed side panel has a plastic tank flow meter is in it you should see wires going to a small pcb

    Thanks….

I ended up removing the bottom panel to find the water inlet – and pulled off some wires next to it – and plugged it back in again – oddly seemed to fix it…

So – that big plastic tank on the side is the flow meter? Got the parts list and diagram and it doesn’t call it that – which confuse me (not difficult!).

Anyway – it is working (for now)

    Thanks again

    😀
