Hi, are there any internal fuses on the controller PCB or elsewhere on this model?
I fixed a leaking pump hose, but of course when I stood it upright and switched on there was a big bang. I traced it to a load of water on the pump connector, which had caused a triac to blow on the board. I replaced the triac but now have no LEDs on the rotary knob or 7-segment displays.
Yes, I play safe and power off! Thanks for the tip.
Final question. If I’ve killed it where can I buy a new controller board?

You didn’t read this before you started, did you? 😀

Anyway, due to economy measures, there are no circuit protection fuses in the machine, so a new board is the order of the day. Part no. 4812 214 78647, a mere trifle at £125 plus VAT etc from memory. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly enough, but – make absolutely certain that the motor is bone dry before plugging back in; better still get it meggered for earth leakage, because the board would not be returnable (from any supplier) under any circumstances.

Thanks for your reply. True, I didn’t read that, I read everything resulting from a search on my model of machine though. At that price I think I’ll reconsider the whole project. I was under the illusion we had bought a decent bit of kit!
