    Hi there!

My ADP5966 isn’t working. It stopped mid cycle (after the dishwasher tablet had been ejected), the 6th sense ‘normal’ light lit up (despite it having started on a different program) and the ‘Start’ button flashes twice, every couple of seconds.

It still drains if the ‘Start’ button is held for a couple of seconds.

This also happened a few days previously. On this occasion I turned the machine on its back and removed the bottom cover to see if there was anything obvious wrong. I couldn’t find anything, but on turning the machine upright and switching it on again it worked normally! (I’d rather not have to do this again without knowing for sure what the problem is as water went everywhere, including a few spots near the circuit board).

Many thanks for any help given.

    Si

Sorry folks – just found the search function for the forum (as opposed to the whole web site) and found a similar problem 😳

Anyway, as similar post mentioned the float switch (which I discovered the previous time I looked at the machine), I gave the machine a shoogle and raised it at the front a couple of centimetres then hey-presto! It works again 😀

Not sure however, if there is a leak, will have a proper look if it trips again.

    Cheers – Si

I would imagine you do have a leak and could I urge you to either find the leak or use an engineer form the link below. Do not just ignore the issue, keep safe. 😉
