Moderatorbit confusing
get 2 numbers (see item 5210 and 5213 in pic )
for the board. am thinking the one marked basic may be unprogrammed as the site stocks the other onehttps://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/4810…control-module
I would request the site double checks not only if its correct for you but also if its progammed

ParticipantThanks again. I cannot find item 5210 on the Whitegoods site. Item 5213 is there and is visually the same at just under £60.
I can find Item 5210 (prog ODRA) on the Whirlpool spares site but the price is over £200. At that price I may as well buy a new dishwasher.
I believe ODRA is a Polish computer company who I presume did the programming.December 1, 2022 at 4:04 pm #483286MikeTB
ParticipantI have not posted recently as the machine suddenly decided to work on the main No.1 programme. But it still fails every so often with the F6 E3 message. It does not finish the cycle but stops with hot water inside. I also had water problems with my Bosch washer/dryer but that was fixed by replacing the inlet valves.
I guess i need to open up the door again and look for a loose connection, as I cannot see the control module giving intermittent faults.December 12, 2022 at 10:21 pm #483287MikeTB

Notes – when powered on (I now switch off mains after use) displays Eco symbol and 6th sense lights for a few seconds.
Regardless of last programme used it reverts to Eco cycle. It should start in same cycle previously used. This must be due to a timer fault.
Machine details – ADP 720WH – Type WASFS – service nos. 8511570 – 381426014954. Can you identify correct control unit from this?UPDATE
It has worked most times but now i cannot get a complete cycle without F6 E3.
I found a Service Manual online, but it is for the 851157280021, while mine is 851157280022.. Mechanically it appears the same, but the Control Panel is clearly quite different.
I can get to the display of stored codes but cannot clear them as my buttons do not match the instructions. It appears to do the test programme but finds no errors. This may be because of the codes already stored. Do you have the sequence which clears the memory and starts the test run.I have been told that the control board is programmed for 851157280020, so it is probably unsuitable.
My washing machine apparently had a failed reed switch on the inlet valve. I note there is a similar flow device in the labyrinth at the side of the dishwasher. Could this be the problem? It is an expensive item.
I am getting desperate so any suggestions will be appreciated.

Moderatorwhen you get the error open the door and check water level. plus check for foam
was wondering if the water load was too small for some reason

ParticipantI have not managed to catch it at the time it stops, so I am never sure how far it has gone through the programme. There is no foam in the machine at all. Problem is this machine has no ways to override the programme. This means I have a very wet load which is not hot enough to dry quickly. You could be correct about the water level as there is never any water in the machine when it fails.
I think I just managed to run the service test successfully. I followed programme timings as listed. Result was Error F9 E1 only. This appears to be the diverter valve which is an expensive item and right at the bottom of the machine. I guess this could cause other errors during operation. It did appear on the list of stored errors.December 13, 2022 at 10:01 pm #483290electrofix
Moderatorthis is a long shot
fault seems to be coming and going
common fault on some dishwashers is the wires that go between the door and the base. these can break and then make and break as the door opens and close
check these wires but do it carefully as there may be multiple wires the same colour and you dont want to mix them up if they are brokenDave

ParticipantThanks for your help.
I may have fixed it. When I managed to run the test cycle it came up F9 E1 which is the diverter valve which allows me to select top or bottom wash only. I switched the machine on and selected top and bottom a couple of times. Then I ran the test cycle again including clearing the last message. The cycle completed with F- E- which means no errors found.
Since then I have completed 2 complete washes without errors. Even shut the water off completely during the wash (another problem) and brought up the H2O error, which just required the start button to continue. It looks as though the error messages may have been completely misleading.December 19, 2022 at 5:58 pm #483292kamito kim

ParticipantMachine has worked fine since last messages. But it has now got a new problem. On programme 1 (sixth sense) it defaults to the maximum programme time. I suspect the turbidity sensor but cannot find any details of the correct part required. I have run the diagnostics and everything passes fine. Any ideas?

ParticipantThanks. I finally found this which seems to be a very common item. It is cheap enough to try.
