whirlpool adp 7408 d/w

evening all,
looked at this today with f4/f1 errors displayed and water in sump.emptied by hand and checked drain pump.propellor was broken and very worn only one section left .fitted a new pump and tried d/w pumped out and started to fill.then f1 Ntc fault.
is the ntc part of the sump level switch?why would these 2 faults appear together?

found the part no. 484000000420
it is a blue switch owi + ntc probe all in one.
anyone know if these give problems?

finally got part and fitted it
job done.
this part fits where the old type vacuum level switch fits in the sump.not exactly sure how it controls the water level as it is solid plastic but has lenses, but it also acts as the ntc as it has a probe for temp.
