    hi all have one of these with f4 coming up did a prewash all ok did a 40 degree seemed ok water heated . left m/c customer phoned saying cant switch on to intensive comes up with f4 which i believe is drain problem ,yet the pump works fine .any help would be appreciated.m

    Yes it does mean drain problem, however that is only a guide.
    More than likely you have a clogged,dirty or faulty Water Indicator (WI) or at worst a faulty PCB. Im assuming you have checked the waste exit? and its circuitry?

    where do i find the wi and is it possible to clean .we have checked water flow on the waste cheers m.

    It’s the black grid you can see in the sump – twist fit from underneath.

    cant find a black grid in the sump, did find a pcb the cover came of but i could not get the pcb out is this the w ind and if so how does it come out m

    Looks like the new style “OWI” one – it’s at 3 o’clock in the sump.

    yeah thats the one took the plug out and the cover but could not get the board out does that get mucky in there.How do you get that out.m
