Hi.
I’ve searched the forums looking for advice but couldn’t find any. But I think I may invest in some of the Haynes manuals men tioned as I’m certain I can recoup their cost over the years.
I have ants in my kitchen at the moment, and lifted my dishwasher up to peer underneath it to see if I could see any ants underneath. (I lifted the front off of its feet, not the whole machine!!!)
Ever since then, the machine has made all sorts of knocking noises in operation, but I guess that the noise is occurring as something rotates in the machine.
This morning, it refused to start at all, and following the troubleshooting section of the manual, I only succeeded in getting it to work by removing the cold water feed hose and refitting (although I had tilted the dishwasher from the rear as well, thinking that I might level it out ?!?).
Anyone got any idea as to what may be causing the problem?
I’m fortunate in that I paid for the 10 year guarantee on parts, but if I can avoid a labour charge, even better!
Thanks in advance,
Alan..
