KeymasterFew days ago,
Whirlpool ADP 962 stops working, start led blinking (no sequence, just continues blinking). When I run passive test, I’ve got F6, ‘water tap closed’
I’ve checked tap, it is OK, I’ve clean the filter, so no inlet hose blocked.
When controller sends impulses to aqua stop, I can hear quiet ‘humming’ from aqua stop, but water definitely does not enter the machine. Can someone advice troubleshooting steps ?
If it is of some help, few days before failure, we’ve got some water supply problem rendering very low water pressure, but now everything is OK.

F2 indicates a flooded base. If you unplug the machine and tilt it to one side you may get water running out.
If you do then you have got an internal leak that needs investigating and fixing or the machine may have overflowed due to excessive foaming.
The small hose from the main circulation pump is a common leak point.
PS. Are you posting from Macedonia ?

passive test show F6, not F2 …
And yes I’m posting from Macedonia, why ?

F6 is a fill fault, the aquastop itself could be faulty but if there is water in the base the machine will not fill.
I queried your location because model numbers are often different in various countries so it helps in identifying the machines.
A lot of the parts and technical information we have is only specific to UK sourced appliances. 😉

I’ve just tilt the machine, and no water comes out …
So, it sounds that I’ll have to open my dishwasher.Anyway, I can not see easy way to disassemble aqua stop, in order to see if something is stacked …
Oh, yes, GREAT thanks for the promptness, I’m really so positively surprised.
