Had this the other day ,wash motor buzzing [jammed] wash/vac supplied new motor, this was an old style looking motor as the one in the m/c was a large Askoll pump motor. Anyroad the replacement fitted no probs, but curiosity got the better of me so i had a look insde the Askoll pump/motor , only to discover the magnetic tube /core was split lengthways, thus jamming when in use. Anybody else had this prob. Customer was fuming 😈 as m/c only 20 months old, oh & her hubby is a lawyer type chappie. 😕 Still we didn’t make it,although some customers think you do 😛

Probably the most commonly fitted part on these dishwashers.
They supply a proper motor pump for spares but still fit the askoll type in production (must be 20p cheaper)
They also positioned the connector at the bottom of the pump so that when water goes into the base it blows the module and stops the machine thereby doing away with the need to fit a float switch in the base. :stir:
