Whirlpool ADP4400 dishwasher — f7 error – any ideas pls?
I have cleaned out the filter, taken off drainage pipe, and blown out gunk that was in it, added dishwasher salt, and its still flashing ❗ ❗
The water had been cut off (burst mains pipe in area), and the light was flashing next time my wife tried to run it… she might well have started to run it before there was enough hot water in tank to go thru the machine – don’t know if thats relevant or not?

Anyway – any help or suggestions from anyone here would be gratefully appreciated.

Flowmeter failure. Fill matrix on L/H side of machine contains a water turbine, which generates pulses which are counted by the computer to indicate the rate and level of water in the machine. The computer thinks it isn’t working. Basic check is to remove connector and clean contacts, then ensure a sound connection. If this doesn’t do the trick, the flow meter may be faulty, the wiring may be faulty, or the computer could be throwing a wobbly.

Power off, before removing any panel.
