    Whirlpool ADP4500
Turn on and it pumps out, all okay, then it starts to fill & pumps for about 1 second then stops for 1 second, then fills and pumps for 1 second and so on with the start light flashing all the time this is happening and the machine not going anywhere.
    Any ideas?
Base not flooded, Tightened plug on flow circuit.
    Regards to all.

Count the flashes between pauses, the result is in the known error codes.

The flashes are quick and continuous

NTC failure, pressure switch (often only needs cleaning!) or water in base are common faults on these machines.

Continuous flash is single flash, error code F1. NTC failure.

It’s the finger shaped object located front & centre in the base – half turn screw fit – (the thermistor) part number: 481228268051.

I would be interested to know if anyone has ever tried fitting the Beko NTC – http://www.4beko.co.uk/cgi-bin/product. … art=ntc{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}20 to a whirlpool d/w and if it worked? Much much cheaper!

Thanks for that Chris, I will be trying the Beko version out on the very next Whirlpool NTC failure I get. 😉

Anyone know the part number for Beko NTC?
    Brian.
