    Two part question, tech & spares.

    Is the ON/OFF switch on this machine a ‘normal’ on/off switch ? I cannot hear or feel any click of any kind when it is depressed, and when released it comes back out. If I hold it in the dishwasher appears to function. The customer cannot remember if the switch used to stay in. :rolls:

    Second question, if this switch is faulty does anyone know the part number ?
    8511 505 15810…38 0434 003996.

    It is a normal DP on/off switch, the same one as used on many Whirlpool washing machines. When on it should stay in and has a definate click to it, common fault.

    Part number is 481941029004
