Whirlpool ADP5442 Fault code 7

Hi from Finland!

My dishwasher (Whirlpool ADP 5442) has stopped working. At the start of any program it will activate the drain pump for ~1 min (as usual), will open the intake water valve, water will flow in for ~30 sec, then the green light of the start button will start flashing in bursts of 7 pulses. After a few seconds the intake valve is closed, drain pump activated until the appliance is empty, and the green light will keep blinking in the same pattern.

Does anybody know what this error code means? I will attempt to fix the thing myself.

It means a flow meter failure genarally.

If you go to the forum search and search for “flow and meter” (exactly that without the quotes, there’s quite a bit of info here on this fault 🙂
