Many thanks due again guys – our ADP5966 dishwasher developed this fault today and I found the answer here on the forum! We have an extended warranty that runs until October and I thought we might have had to call someone, but the flooded base has been relieved and we are back in business.
I don’t know whether this was caused by a leaking hose or a backflow from the waste, so I will monitor the situation and if it happens again, I will investigate further.
Thanks very much once again. Nice to find a simple solution to a problem for a change!
Cheers,

You’ll need to keep an eye on it – there are various potential leak points on these appliances. Multi function dishwasher tablets don’t help either.

Does anyone know how to reset the flood switch on a 2900 dish dishdrawer ❓

ADG2900?
Get rid of the water and it should re-set.
Why have you posted this in this thread – topic is completely unrelated.
Power off before removing any panel.

I pre-empted your reply and resolved the issue by reading the earlier comments on this thread. Thanks for your time. An excellent help forum. 😀

Hi all, I have the same start light flashing problem and have found water in the tray. I’ll tip it out in a min but have not got my user manual. Can anyone let me know where I would find the hose that could be leaking and how to access it as the space under the door is very tight! Thanks.

Removing the door outer panel, then the lower cover plate should allow plenty of access – power off first, please. There is no one specific hose to aim for, although the outlet hose from the circulation pump is a known weak spot.
There is an undertray which can be removed (2 screws) for a general inspection of the underside of the machine.
Observation is the only answer, I’m afraid.
