Hi! Right, moved dishwasher – yes should’ve known that that would cause a problem!!! :rolls: – switched on and filled and kept filling!!!
Then water flooding out underneath! Drains OK but when switched back on to a cycle it floods again!

At one point error code flashed on- F8.

Possibly float control valve? Help!!! 😕

DIY job? or just buy new machine?! What’s cheaper option – money wise and sanity wise!!! 😡

Grateful for replies asap!!! Thanks, Paul.

F8 is water level failure – it doesn’t know how much water is in the machine. Remove and scrupulously clean all filters. Look into the hole at the bottom – you will see a black grid at the 3 o’clock position. That is the water level sensor. The grid collects all sorts of foody detritus. Attack with toothbrush and plenty of hot water; it may clear. If not, it can be removed from underneath (twist fit – power off first) for better cleaning.
