Whirlpool ADP6940 dishwasher – fault codes?

I have a Whirlpool ADP6940 dishwasher of unknown age. It has started tripping the RCD. The unit is trying to tell me what is wrong by flashing the start light twice pausing and then repeating. The unit stops without completing the cycle and hence has water left in it. I have managed to get it to run through one cycle by manually removing the water and debris. It fails within a cycle or two.

What I desperately need to know is what does the flashing twice error code equate to? I have searched for hours without finding anything. Please help.

Is the Pengiun able to help?!

Flood protection activated – there is water in the tray under the machine. Drain it off – if the problem repeats, you’ll need to find the leak.
