Whirlpool ADP7933

I bought my Whirlpool Dishwasher a year or so ago off Ebay – a snip and 80.00 GBP, but now have noticed that the top basket is going rusty.

I think that it may be the reason that it is not cleaning as well as it used to. SOme red/brown residue on the glasses/cups at the frontmost of the machine.

Any ideas where I can get a replacement?

Also, when I bought it the previous owners took out the extended warranty for 5 years. I guess that this is not transferable?

Manufacturers tend to avoid costs where possible just like any other business and i’m sure that somewhere in the small print it will state that the guarantee is not transferable 😕

If you email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk a basket could be supplied….don’t forget to quote the service number for your machine (on the rating plate, on the edge of the door…it will be something like 8545********)

When you have your new basket make sure you don’t bend the prongs on it as that will crack the plastic coating and cause it to rust. 😉
