    hi

    my previously faultless dishwasher has suddenly developed a flashing start button which doesnt stop and you cannot override it any help would be most helpful

    Count the pattern of the flashing light, ie 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat. It’s an error code.

    Flood protection activated – there is water in the base tray under the machine. Drain and find the leak – power off first.

    okay thanks , what is the probable cause of the leak , is there one thing more common than anything , and is it an easy fix

    Usual culprit is a split in the small hose off the re-circulation motor.
    Run it and look for the fountain 😉

    thanks for reply will look tomorrow , is that pump in the machine , ie under base tray , or is it external
