    Hi,

I have a whirlpool AFB6640 freezer. The pump runs fine when the machine is first switched on and is given a jolt but then later will not restart unless I again hit/jolt the freezer. As a result it gets down to temperature and then defrosts/warms up as pump does not cut in later on . I am assuming it is a problem with the thermostat which is part of the circuit board as can’t see a seperate thermostat.

Does this sound like the right problem as i don’t want to buy anew circuit board for no reason, and also where can i get a circuit board (ITW ISPRA Controls TP723100 I think) from.

    thanks

Replace the faulty relay with the better quality: OMRON G5LE-1-VD 24VDC

many whirlpool freezer uses bad relay (SCHRACK T7NS5H1-24-WG-A)

    price less than GBP £10

    Done.
