❓ Hi I have a Whirlpool induction hob AKM 990 with four rings, the largest one when used will often turn the hob off for some reason?

It will switch back on ok and once again even with the lock on it will turn the hob off. It only seems to happen when I’m using the largest ring and not every time.

I often get the H (heat) lights on (1 per ring) even when I know the hob is not hot, I overcome this by switching it on and running the power down from 9 back to zero on each ring that is indicating heat, the H light will then switch off.

Does the hob have an overheat sensor that switches itself off or is it a control fault? Are the thermostats too sensitive?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
