    Hi All

    My mum has a whirlpool fan oven and the element has become defective and trips the RCD,she has had an engineer to look at the oven and he confirmed the element requires replacing.The element is rated at 2300 Watts the model number is FXVM6 and the Model number is AKP202/1X, serial number is 857720215502,this is where the search goes dark the model number does not exist on all the websites I have tried,,, so i am wondering if anyone has hit this problem before or if there is a compatible/alternative replacement element that will fit and where can I get my hands on one and what part number is it to stop my mother buying a new oven.

    There is no fan element in this model only upper and lower elements, I assume it is the upper that is gone and if so the part is available in the shop here.
