Can anyone tell me where to find the thermal fuse on this oven, the leccy that shorted out the old one has done a bunk. I’ve now got a spare but can’t get him round to fit it. I want to find out where it is prior to pulling out the oven as it’s all built in and not a five minute job. Any pointers would be well received, thanks.

It’s around the back, quite evident once you’ve got the oven out 😀

He shorted the old one ?? 😯 It’s no wonder you can’t get hold of him, he’s probably been prosecuted if that’s the sort of thing he’s been up to. The thermal fuse is an integral safety device, if your unsure about this call an engineer, repairs@ or the directories should find someone.

If you are to proceed, power off 1st ! :zap:

I’m in Exeter too. I must admit that I’ve had it out already (fnaaar) but couldn’t see where it went, I must be a bit fick or somethink! Power down or get frizzled hair I know, luckily not from experience…..

In the case the old one has been removed and the wiring modified by the sounds of it.

If you are the same person, you actualy ordered the part from us I think, I had a conversation about the very same thing a week or two ago 😀

Give us a call and we’ll sort it for you if you get stuck (CES)
